The MONZA story
Samir Khanji's career in cars began at a fuel station, when a customer asked him to sell a car on commission. That first sale led to a trade in used cars — and, in time, to the company that carries the Monza name today.
He built the business by buying and selling used cars. A visit to Italy gave it its name: after seeing the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, he chose Monza for the company he was building.
In 1970, he opened his first showroom — the beginning of Monza Group.
His son Houssam Khanji joined the business and extended its reach, importing vehicles from the United States and sourcing models other dealers in Lebanon didn't carry. Monza's reputation grew with it.
In Lebanon, Houssam broadened the portfolio to motorhomes, yachts and armoured vehicles, serving embassies, government clients and private customers across the region. A Chevrolet and Cadillac sub-dealership followed.
Kareem Khanji recognised the shift to premium electric vehicles early and pursued the manufacturer relationships directly. Following a formal selection process, Monza was appointed the official dealer for VOYAH and MHERO, two brands of the Dongfeng group.
Today Monza is the official authorised VOYAH dealer in Lebanon, and the exclusive authorised representative of MHERO. Three generations on, it remains a family-run business.
